Decency Rally Wrap Up.

Sweet fucking Jesus, I have never been more happy/proud/honored to be a part of what an incredible event last night was. Everything ran smoothly and every band was spot fucking on top of an incredible turnout. Highlights include COWORKERS, HOGLUST, EVERYTHING FALLS APART and PLATES. Props goes out to Aaron Weese from Coworkers for putting everything he did into the night. If there was any doubt that Buffalo doesn't have an excellent Hardcore Punk scene, it was put to rest with authority last night. This was easily the best set we have ever played. Between Monday's house show and last night's festival, it felt fucking spectacular to be reminded why I am still here and involved in the first place. I am so unbelievably sore and I couldn't be any more happier about it.

And now, some pictures from our set:

If interested in the rest, feel free to cruise on over HERE!

I'm sure video shall soon surface as every set was recorded.

We have nothing booked as of right now, for we intend on focusing our time on writing and recording new material. Fingers crossed on a Vile Crocodile 7" EP slated for Early 2011.

One Love,
Dave

Decency Rally Write Up in the Artvoice

Saturday, November 6

The Buffalo Decency Rally

Come one, come all! A proverbial call to arms against mediocrity, The Buffalo Decency Rally proves to be the show of all shows for the Buffalo hardcore/punk community, already a criminally under looked entity in its own right. For those of you wondering what the faster and harder side of music is like in Western New York, you won’t find a better opportunity than this Saturday (Nov 6), when 17 of Buffalo’s best descend on both floors of the Adam Mickiewicz Polish Library for a night of decent debauchery. Highlights of the evening include the return of Plates, who can be best described as Black Flag pushing early Jesus Lizard down a fight of stairs. Trystero will bring their devastatingly epic cello crust/core to the party as well, not to mention the Replacements tinged pop punk of Unwelcome Guests and the surf-soaked punk trio, MayDay! The Decency Rally will also see the first live appearance of Crutches, the new project featuring members of the now-defunct local legends, Corpus Dei. Ragtime ragamuffins Reverend Soapbox and the Rabble Rousers surely won’t disappoint and the almost prog-like hardcore punk of Coworkers will leave your head spinning along with the bass heavy noise/grind of dual female fronted, Inerds. The dry-pan naughtiness of master of ceremonies, Ben Verbeck will keep you chuckling all night. Come out this Saturday (Nov 6) and fight the good fight while hob-knobbing with the good and the great. Things kick off at 5pm sharp and will only set you back five bucks. Bring ear plugs…or don’t.

Tonight's House Show

Holy shit was that a success. I can't even begin to explain how much fun was had, especially during Burning Love's set. A huge thank you out to all those who attended and played. Andy and I do intend on doing more shows like tonight, so stay tuned. Hopefully some picture and video will surface soon.  Until then, we hope to see all of your beautiful faces at THE BUFFALO DECENCY RALLY this coming Saturday.
