Bust shots at Big Ben like we got time to kill.

Wow. I don't even know exactly how to even start this off or what I could possibly say that can even express the extreme amount of gratitude and excitement I have after this past week. Basically, thank you to everyone who was a part of it. Special props go out to Joe Riverside, The Funeral Home, Pat Bolger and most importantly every single kid who came and supported Buffalo Hardcore/Punk. In the 11 years I have been involved in this 'scene' I have never been more proud or stoked to rep the name Buffalo.

Our show with Alpha and Omega, Expire and Take Offense was moved from Sugar City to the Funeral Home due to poorly executed promotion. Joe Riverside may as well be the fucking Captain America of Hardcore. Saving the scene one show at a time. We opened up and played for pretty much the first time since taking some time off after The Decency Rally in November. I think we played fairly well. I'm not particularly into metallic hardcore, and though both Alpha and Omega and Take Offense aren't really my digs, the both were fucking explosive live and really impressed me. I'd have to say Expire stole the show, however. This was my first time seeing/hearing them and I was really fucking into it. All in all, the show was a total success/major rager and I couldn't have been more pleased.

Come Saturday, we were right back to the Funeral Home to celebrate the release of Lieutenant's LP. I went into this show extremely fucking stressed and nervous as it has been a show I've been super fucking stoked on playing for months now as I absolutely love every single band on the bill and felt extremely privileged/honored to have been asked to be a part of it. Our drummer, Jason was out of town and we nearly had to cancel until our good buddy Derrick, from Sons of Azrael and Hellcannon stepped up to the plate and literally learned our demo just a few short hours before the show. Other than a couple minuscule fuck-ups, I couldn't have been happier with the result. We pulled it together pretty well considering everything and I definitely owe Derrick many-o-beers for helping us out on such short notice. Resist Control and Hoglust fucking destroyed the place as per usual and Lieutenant we beyond ridiculous. I love nothing more than playing great local shows with some of my favorite bands and people. I have bruises all over my body and I couldn't be more content with it. Also, pick up the Lieutenant LP. Seriously. Shit is fucking mind-blowing.
